DESCRIPTION

CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® is a low VOC (5g/L) solvent-borne, clear penetrating oil and water repellent. CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® penetrates epoxy and cementitious terrazzo including other hard surfaces such as marble and stone without leaving topical residues. The chemical properties of CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® provide superior coverage and excellent penetration. CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® is manufactured in the U.S.A.

PREPARATION

When using a broom, dust mop or vacuum, remove loose grit and other materials from floor prior to using CC&L International TriSeel PLUS®. 

WARNING: CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® is intended for use on industrial and commercial floor type surfaces. Protect People, property, vehicles, animals, glass, plants, and any other surfaces other than those receiving CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® from splash, overspray, residue and wind-drift.

TEMPERATURE GUIDELINES

Use CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® with air and surface temperatures of 40-90°F (4-32°C). Do not apply CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® below or above these temperatures. Avoid application in high winds.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® is compliant with most local, state and national VOC regulations. Including the following:

APPLICATION

Read and fully understand all “Preparation” and “Safety Information”, prior to the application of CC&L International TriSeel PLUS®. Always test surfaces for desired results prior to commencing work.

Recommended method of application is with a low-pressure (40 psi or less) pump sprayer and a conical tip with a microfiber pad and applicator. 

1. Apply CC&L International TriSeel PLUS®. In one continuous application. Apply enough product to keep surface wet for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
2. Spread CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® with a microfiber pad and applicator. Allow time to dry. Do not allow CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® to pool or puddle.
3. If needed, burnish surface with a high speed machine and 3,000 grit or higher diamond-impregnated maintenance pad to remove any residue from surface.
4. On porous surfaces a second application may be required to provide optimum surface protective. Apply only after first coat is dry and burnished.

COVERAGE

CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® is ready-to-use and should be diluted with any other material.

Typical coverage is,

• 5,000 to 6,500 square feet per U.S. gallon.
• 280 to 420 square meters per U.S. Gallon.

DRYING TIME

Light foot traffic may be allowed a minimum of one hour after CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® has dried. Surfaces should be protected from excessive moisture and vehicular traffic for a minimum of 8 hours after application. Resistance to oils and acids begins 24 hours after application and full resistance is typically achieved in seven days.

CLEAN-UP

Clean tools and equipment immediately with mineral spirits or equivalent cleaning solvent. Rundowns and spills should be removed immediately. Do not reuse containers.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Store CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® in a cool dry area. Keep containers upright and tightly closed when not in use. Do not allow CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® to freeze. CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® should be discarded if freezing does occur. Product has approximate shelf life of 1 year with factory-sealed container stored under instructed conditions. Do not mix CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® with other chemicals. Maintain temperatures of 45-105° F (7-40° C). Dispose of unused product in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. 

MAINTENANCE

Remove staining agents from treated areas as soon as possible. Etching may occur from acidic substances and can typically be repaired with mechanized cleaning equipment. Contact manufacturer for repair recommendations. Many cleaners are destructive to terrazzo surfaces including those treated with CC&L International TriSeel PLUS®. Only use cleaners specifically formulated for exposed concrete surfaces. CC&L International recommends that you continue to use CC&L International TriSeel Clean Concentrate® and a TriSeel Clean & Shine Maintenance Pad as an ongoing daily cleaning solution.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Reference the Material Safety Data sheet prior to handling and applying CC&L International TriSeel PLUS®. CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® may be an irritant to the skin, eyes and respiratory system. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Breathing vapors or mists produced by this product should be avoided. Always use appropriate eye protection and chemical resistant apparel. Keep work area ventilated. Use safety equipment and other necessary controls during application and handling. CC&L International TriSeel PLUS® is non-flammable and non-combustible. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. 

FIRSTAID

Ingestion:
DO NOT induce vomiting. Contact physician or Poison Control Center immediately.

Eye Contact:
Immediately flush eyes for 15 minutes in clear running water; hold eyelids open. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Skin Contact:
Wash affected area with soap and water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Inhalation:
Move to a fresh air area. 

Skin Contact:
Wash affected area with soap and water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Claims must be made in writing and received within 90 days from date of product sale to original buyer. Sole remedy shall be replacement of product proven defective.
