DESCRIPTION

Alloy-Armor HVAC Coil/Fin Cleaner is an eco-safe, non-acidic cleaner for use on air-cooled equipment including condensers, evaporators, aluminum fins and copper coils. Unlike competing products, this product is non-corrosive and will not contribute to the degradation of metals or soldered connections. HVAC Coil/Fin Cleaner leaves equipment clean and operating efficiently, for extended equipment life-cycle performance. Made in the U.S.A., this product is easy to apply and safe for building occupants.  For best results HVAC Coil/Fin Cleaner should be applied with a hand pump sprayer whenever there is a need to clean aluminum fin and copper coil soldered joints. 

USES

HVAC Coil/Fin Cleaner was developed to safely clean HVAC equipment without the use of synthetic dyes and chemical odors. This product is the perfect solution for working on HVAC equipment found under drop ceilings in classrooms and tight work spaces. Use Indoors or outdoors on air handlers, fan coils, multi-zone, packaged, or split, units. Because it is environmentally friendly HVAC equipment can be cleaned at its existing location without having to be moved. Made in the U.S.A., HVAC Coil/Fin Cleaner can be used by both DIY homeowners and professionals to keep your HVAC equipment performing at its best.

PREPARATION

It is important to make sure that HVAC Coil/Fin Cleaner is used without contamination from the environment and dirty application equipment. For best results apply on HVAC metals in a safe and ventilated, area with minimal wind under manufacturer recommended instructions. Use soft vinyl disposable gloves for hand protection and a disposable dust mask for safety as desired.

TEMPERATURE GUIDLINES

Ambient temperature during application should be 40-100°F (4-38°C) in a wind controlled environment.

DILUTION

Dilute HVAC Coil/Fin Cleaner at 1 part product to 4 parts water for a concentrated cleaner. (ex:1 gallon of cleaner to 4 gallons of water can make 5 gallons of daily cleaner).

APPLICATION

1. HVAC Coil/Fin Cleaner should be applied in a safe, controlled environment.
2. Turn off unit power before starting. Spray down target area to be cleaned with tap water.
3. Shake bottle before removing cap and pour directly into hand pump sprayer. (DILUTE under manufactures instructions listed above)
4. Increase hand pump sprayer until pressure produces a strong spray.
5. Spray an even coat of product onto the desired surface and let soak for several minutes depending on humidity and temperature.
6. Spray off target area with tap water until product is no longer visible. Product will dry clear.
7. Turn unit power back on and clean sprayer with tap water.

CLEANUP

Clean all application equipment with fresh water. Do not reuse product containers.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Store HVAC Coil/Fin Cleaner in a cool, dry area.  Keep containers upright and closed when not in use. Do not allow product to freeze. Discard if product has been frozen. Product has an approximate shelf life of 2 years if factory-sealed container is stored properly. Do not mix with other chemicals. Maintain temperatures of 45-105°F (7-40°C). Dispose of unused product in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations.

Ingestion:
DO NOT induce vomiting. Drink large quantities of water or milk. Seek medical attention immediately.
Eye Contact:
Remove contact lenses. Immediately flush eyes for 15 minutes in clear running water; hold eyelids open. Seek medical attention if irritation persists after flushing.
Skin Contact:
Wash affected area with soap and water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
